It was found that his way of thinking has had relations with constituents of current Indian instruction and his goals and contemplations on various parts of training have fruitful bearing and should be consolidated into the current school system. The ideas of widespread fellowship and strict resilience have general worth to the current situation. His endeavor of intermixing Vedantic otherworldly, moral and moral training and western material idea of schooling has more considerable significance to our advanced Indian culture for all-encompassing in the general moderate improvement of youngster's idle possibilities. His idea of self-training and man-production instruction and schooling for character and country building are the substances for the establishing bedrock of the present arrangement of comprehensive schooling. Furthermore, he also laid more noteworthy accentuation on ladies' schooling and training for individuals of the more fragile segments in the general public which is very apparent and adequate to present-day culture for making a populist society of ethically elevated and substantially blossomed. As a Hindu priest and Vedantist advocate, his philosophical lessons and thoughts on various parts of schooling are wonderful to make cutting-edge training more practical and useful to society. Through ideal arrangement for an adjusted educational plan adds to the otherworldly and material improvement of understudies' inborn characteristics through the appearance of what is as of now being there in youngsters in idle structure is additionally the essential fundamental of student-focused training. Swami Vivekananda's Spiritual Thought and Current Problem of Education

2019

"Education is the manifestation of divine perfection already existing in man" this Spiritual thought of Swami Vivekananda shows that each youngster is as of now a holder of information and the undertaking of an educator or a master is to simply teach into the understudies, the correct way in the correct way. Looking at the situation objectively cautiously then one might say that Swamiji's accentuation of brahmacharya was the unadulterated method for addressing numerous debased considerations, words, and deeds of the present school understudies, as brahmacharya encourages the advancement of Mental, Moral and Otherworldly Powers are prompting the need of Contemplations, Words, and Deeds. Presently assuming we investigate the strict improvement expressed by Swamiji, it supported the preparation of sentiments and feelings so the entire life is filtered and sublimated, the limit of dutifulness, social assistance, and accommodation to the beneficial things will foster in the individual and it can assist with changing the indiscipline. rebellion and unsteadiness of sentiments and feelings communicated by the supporters in the current Schooling situation Swamiji said that the master and his pupils should live in close relationship as in a family yet as it isn't trailed by the current School system so we can say that such countless youngsters are thus much scared of the educators that they lacked the ability to unadulterated a solitary word before them. So in this manner large numbers of the issues which happen in their school life or understudy life stay untold and can never be settled is a kind of understudy who might experience the ill effects of mental problems. tension, misery, feeling of inadequacy, clashes, disappointment, maladjustment, and so on.

"You Will Be Closer to Paradise through Football than Through the Investigation of the Gita"- Swamiji generally stresses sports and games ie. actual activities which can create the physical, mental, mental, and Profound capacity of a person. If a kid is constantly taking part in their examinations and proactive tasks then in the jungle gyms, he can be a social individual and capable become a decent, mindful, and sympathetic resident of his country. As he generally drew in to improve his regular athletic capacities in himself so we can't give estrangement to polluted contemplations, deeds, ill-advised perspectives to other people, irrational exercises, crimes, unsocial exercises, follower exercises, and in particular it can't be a piece of adolescent self-destruction which is a consuming condemnation of our country because the fate of our nation is obliterated. A man with legitimate physical and psychological wellness is constantly shown how he can be rich for his family, society, or more for his country. Thus, to construct a solid country we ought to need to fabricate or make or produce sound individuals who will be a valuable abundance for their country and their kin. Building solid per is likewise assuming a vital part as indicated by Swamiji. Thus, Otherworldliness, yoga, and contemplation foster the entire character of a person.

After the above conversation, it is clear that there is a need to enter Swamiji's Profound considerations in the present Instructive situation as we can beat numerous enormous issues which the assistance of his Otherworldly thoughts and contemplations.

Thus, we think there is a pertinent point in Master Vivekananda's Otherworldly considerations and thoughts that should be followed and remembered for the educational plan and School system in the current Training situation or framework to get perused of certain lacunas, and lacks of the Schooling system.

Vivekananda's Educational Thought and Its Importance in Today's Educational System

Our set of experiences and folklore showed us the incredible worth of instruction. Yet, the significance of offering some benefit training is felt vital today because the current arrangement of instruction can't contribute a lot to individual and social turn of events. To finish up it very well may be expressed that Vivekananda has predicted that humankind is going through an emergency. Clashes of beliefs, habits, and propensities are plaguing the air. Slight for all that old is the design of the day. Numerous years will pass, numerous ages will travel every which way, and Vivekananda and his time will turn into the far-off past, however never will there blur the memory of the one who for his entire life longed for a superior future for individuals, who accomplished such a great deal to stir his comrades and push India ahead, to safeguard his much experiencing individuals foul play and mercilessness. From the examination of Vivekananda's considered schooling, obviously the elevate of the majority is conceivable just through appropriate training.

Vivekananda was an extraordinary educationist and he changed practically the whole field of schooling. His instructive perspectives were hugely affected by the timeless realities of Vedanta. He motivated a great many Indian Young people with his progressive thoughts of training. He mixed another soul in the public blood. He unequivocally pushed public training on public lines and given public social custom. Vivekananda's pragmatic arranged way to deal with training is exceptionally appropriate for the advanced time of Science and Software engineering.

A Study on Teachings and Philosophy Of Swami Vivekananda

2014

We have just a single answer for this multicultural and multi-strict world. It is to stick to the idea of one all-inclusive religion, which isn't changing over disciples of any remaining religions into one religion yet tolerating the idea of strict pluralism. It is the embodiment of Master Vivekanand's vision of the world. This all-inclusive thought can be polished by devotees of various religions as well as similarly by non-devotees for it is established on the possibility of the unity of mankind and it is designed for human self-acknowledgment which isn't a restraining infrastructure of a specific religion. Master Vivekananda was one of the most persuasive and profound heads of Vedanta reasoning. He was the central supporter of Ramakrishna Paramahansa and was the pioneer behind Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Master Vivekananda was the living exemplification of penance and devoted his life to the nation and longed for the advancement of poor people, and the powerless, and the oppressed. He showed a reference point of light to a country that had lost confidence in its capacity under English rule and propelled self-assurance among Indians that they are top-notch.

Role Of Teacher In Swami Vivekananda's Man-Making Education

2016

Swami Vivekananda's ideas on Man Making Education and the role of teacher in Man Making Education are very much relevant in our day-to-day society. Man Making Education solves so many problems which are raised in recent times. His famous words; "Awake, arise, and stop not till the goal is reached" still resonated among the youth of the nation, rousing their social consciousness and kindling their damp spirits. We sum up with the words of Swami Vivekananda: The only service to be given to our lower classes is to educate them; to develop their lost individuality. Give them ideas-that is the only help they require and then the rest will follow as the effect. Ours is to put the chemicals together, crystallization comes from the law of nature. Now if the mountain cannot come to Mohammed, Mohammed must go to the mountain. If the poor boy cannot come to education, education must go to him. This is true and has relevance in our country today. The teacher plays a key role in educating common mass.

According to him, "The firm Divine beings we need to venerate are our compatriots In a word, his schooling plan supposedly is a self-intrigued mix of Indian Vedanta reasoning with western science.

Education is seen as an instrument for harnessing human drives, and as Consequences it becomes to some extent method of behavior modification. Education preserves rather than changes.

Educational Views of Swami Vivekananda’s

There is a more to learn from Vivekananda’s thoughts on education. Swami puts lot of focus on physical education, more education, religious education, media of language in Education, Woman Education, an education for weaker section of society.

1. Physical Education– Without the practical aspect of physical education, the self realization , self adoptation or human character building is not possible. One must know it is not possible to keep a strong mind without a strong body. In particular we can and the stress the need for physical education and curriculum. Swami jia said you will be nearer to heaven through football than through the study of Kita. You will understand Gita better by your biceps. Your muscles are little stronger. You will understand the Upanishad better and the glory of the. At month when your body stands, forms on your feet. Can you feel yourself as a manhood.

2. Medium of Education–  Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagor and Vivekananda also focused on education through the medium of mother tongue. Swami said besides mother tongue there should be a common language which is necessary to keep the country.  Appreciated the greatness of Sanskrit. Swami ji said that it is the source of all Indians languages and a repository of all inherited aspect. Therefore, without sense great, it will be impossible to understand Indian culture. It is a like a store House of ancient heritage to develop a society. It is necessary that man and woman know his language Besides the knowledge of there Own mother language.

3. Moral and Religious Education–  Swami ji said religion is the core of education. Religion is like the  core of education. Religion is like the rice and everything else is like the curries. Talking only curries causes indigestion and so is the case with talking rice alone. Therefore religious education is a vital part of a sound curriculum. Vivekananda’ considered Gita Upanishads and the Vedas as the more necessary curriculum for religious education. It helps not only in individual’s development but also in the transformation of overall dovelopment of a man.

4.  Education Of Masses– The individual development is not a holistic development of our nation  and society so it is important to give education to the society or general peoples. The education is not only confined to the well to do persons only but also to the poor people. Swami ji focused on the improvement of the condition of the masses and for this he advocated mass education.

5. Man Making Education- The academic philosophy of swami Vivekananda is a harmonious analysis between the ancient Indian ideals and modern western beliefs. Swami not only stressed upon the physical, cognitive, moral, values and vocational development of the  student but also, he advocated women education as well as education of the masses. The necessary characteristics of educational philosophy of swami Vivekananda are idealism naturalism and pragmatism. In a naturalistic view points he focused that original education is possible only through nature and natural features . In the form of idealist view point he insists that the aim of education is to develop the child with moral values and spiritual qualities.

6. Self Education– This is the practical aspect .Self education is the self-knowledge. That is knowledge of our self is the best council in the struggle of our life. If we take one example the child hood stage the child will face lot of problems or commit mistakes in the process of character information. The child will learn much by his own mistakes. Errors are the stepping stones to our progress in character. This progress will need courage and will strong. The strong will is the sign of great character of the man.

7. Women Education-  Vivekananda considered women to be the incarnation of power. He rightly pointed out that unless Indian women secure a respectable place in this country the nation can never move forward. The necessary features of his scheme of women education are make women strong fear less and conscious of their chastity and dignity. He insists that male and female are squally competent not only in the academic matters but also in other spheres of life.

8. Education For Weaker Section of Society-  Vivekananda pleaded for the universal education so that the backward people may fall in line with  each-others. To uplift the poor classes he chooses education as a  most powerful instrument for their life process. Thus education should spread to every household in the country to factories playing grounds and agricultural field. If the children do not come to the school the teacher should reach them. Two or three educated men should reach them. Two or three educated men should team up collect all the paraphernalia of education and should go to the village to impart education to the student.

From the analysis of Swamiji’s scheme of education, it is clear that the upliftment of masses is possible only through education. His views on education brings to light a constructive practical and comprehensive approach to materialize the moral and spiritual welfare and uplift men of humanity irrespective of caste creed nationality of time. By the way of his scheme of education we can get to build the strong nation with peace and harmony and without caste and creed.

It is the personality of a man that counts. “According to Vivekananda personality is 2 third and his intellect words are only one. 3rd in making the real man.” The ideal of all education an all trainings should be dis man making.

Service of Mind – another important aim of Education is serving the God in man. It is the God in the sick, the poor, the miserable, the egg ignorant and down - trodden and what we should worship. And Swamiji own Words “If you want to find God Serve man.” he was pained to see the wretched poverty of his countryman. He therefore wanted that education must enable everyone to stand on his own feet and satisfy his own primary needs.

4. Promotion of Universal Brotherhood- swami Vivekananda’s love for mankind knew no geographical boundaries. He always played for the harmony and good relationship of all nations. He said “through education we should gradually reach the idea of Universal Brotherhood by flinging down the walls of separation, and inequality. In every man in every animal, however weak or miserable, Great or small, Resize the same omnipresent an Omni sent soul. The difference is not in the soul, but in manifestation. He instead the education, must call forth his power in every person and broadened it to such an extent that is, may cover the whole world.

Aim Of Physical And Mental Development- The second aim of Education is that the child should able to promote national growth and advancement as a fearless a physically well-developed citizen of tomorrow. Hence, he advocated the training of feelings and Emotions so that the whole life in purified and sublimated than only the capacity of obedience, social service and submission to the teaching and Preaching’s of great saint. An saviors will develop in the individual. education should foster this development.

Educational Views of Swami Vivekananda’s on Curriculum

According to Swami Vivekananda, the prime aim of Education is spiritual growth and development. but this does not mean that he did not advocate material prosperity and physical well-being. He feelingly advocated third inclusion of all those subjects and activities, In the curriculum which foster material welfare with spiritual advancement. For spiritual perfections, swami prescribed religious, philosophy, Upanishads, company of Saint and Their preaching’s and for material advancement and prosperity He recommended language, geography, science. Political science, economics, psychology, arts, agriculture, industrial and technical subjects together with game, sports and other physical exercise.

Method’s of Education

Swami Vivekananda’s prescribed the same ancient spiritual methods of teaching wherein the Guru and his disciples lived in close Association as in a family. The essential characteristics of those religious and spiritual methods, whereas under-

1. To control fleeting cognativel faculties, by the practice of exercise.

2. To develop the mind by concentration and meditation.

3. To gain the theoretical knowledge through lectures, demonstration discussion, self-experience a creative activity.

4. To imitate the qualities and characters of Teachers Intelligence and upper understanding and knowing.

5. To lead the student on the right path by means of individuals guidance by the teacher educator.

Swami Ji advocates that since the human mind is perfect, there is no necessity for it to receive knowledge from outside. Hence, learning is nothing but a process of discovery of knowledge within the mind. However, he has suggested following methods of teaching to be followed in a teaching learning situation.

1. Concentration Method– Swamiji considered concentration as the only method of attaining cognitive aspect. The key to the treasure House of knowledge. Concentration method helps the child to withdraw his different senses from Temptation of life and concentrate on the subject matter of instructions. He believes that Brahmacharya is necessary for developing the power of concentration. He said “brahma Chari should be the burning fire within the veins.”

2. Methods of Realization– Vivekananda’s considered realization as the chief aim of life. He advocated yoga is the most ideal method of realization. Yoga’s are four in number,

Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga and jnana Yoga

The scope of all these yoga is 1 and the same removal of ignorance an enabling the soul to restore its original nature.

3. Discussion And Contemplation Method– Borrowing the idea from ancient Indian Gurukul system of Education with Vivekananda’s and also advocated at discussion an contemplation to be followed in education.

4. Limitation Method– Children like to imitate the activities of others. Vivekananda therefore advocated utilizing such qualities of children for educational purposes. A teacher should present higher ideals and nobler patterns of behavior. Before the children to help them to imitate such activities for the formation of their Character and personality.

5. Individual Guidance and Counselling– Vivekananda advocated the method of individual guidance and counseling in the teaching learning process to develop divine wisdom.

6. Lecture Method – Spiritual ideas are abstract ideas. It is becoming difficult on the part of a child to understand spiritual doctrines. Therefore, Vivekananda advocated for the introduction of lecture method to explain the spiritual ideas in a simple way to the students.

Activity Method– Swami Ji accepted learning through activities as an ideal method and effective method of teaching. It can provide direct experience to the children. He advocated those activities like singing, storytelling, drama, and dance should be performed by the students. He also advocated for the Introduction Of activities like excursions, camps etc., to help the students to understand the value of social service.

Relevance of Swami Vivekananda’s Ideas in Modern Education

Vivekananda felt that modern education all over the world has so far concentrated on the learning to do aspect and not on the learning to be faculties of Education. He says that education must focus on the requirement of the human mind. His philosophy of Education is based on universal principle of morality and ethics. He wanted to teach the common masses of India, the ideals of synthesis, tolerance, and Universal Harmony. His philosophy gives equal importance to the claims of spirit and matter. To him, diversity is as real as unity. Matter is only ‘veiled spirit’. Thus, he creates a metaphysical synthesis, reconciling the claims of spirit and matter and makes it one of these chief bases of its philosophy of Education.
